My deafness has worsened over the years. Then I discovered the relay service. It's meant so much to me and the wonderful relay officers are so patient and kind. My life would be so much more difficult without them.

I've got cerebral palsy which means my voice is slurred. Sometimes when I ring someone who I don't know, they can't understand me or don't take me seriously. Having a relay officer on the line, who can re-speak some of my words if necessary, takes all the tension out of the call.
