Minister to investigate emergency SMS

Senator Stephen Conroy, the Minister for Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy, has announced his 'intention to establish an SMS emergency service for people with disabilities'.

He has asked his department to address these implementation issues as a matter of priority.

Senator Conroy, made the announcement at a CommsDay Summit in Sydney.
